Stonehenge &

Vineyard Tour

Let your journey begin…

It's time to embark on a fascinating exploration of Stonehenge, one of Britain’s most renowned and enigmatic landmarks, which is steeped in mystery and intrigue that has captivated visitors for centuries. This remarkable site invites travelers to delve into its rich history and consider the myriad theories surrounding its purpose and construction.

Our next stop, Black Chalk Estate is set in the stunning Test Valley, making it a perfect location to visit and taste our sparkling and still wines which are made right here, in our onsite winery. Whilst our wines may be beautifully crafted, our ethos remains down-to-earth, firmly rooted in the reality that growing and making wine in England is a challenging adventure! You have 2 hours to explore the vineyard, sample four wines and indulge in delicious local produce, expertly paired with our Hampshire wines. Our rotating specials board offers seasonal delights, alongside a sharing platter menu of cheeses, charcuterie, and River Test smoked trout, available throughout the day. For a sweet treat, enjoy a slice of locally made cake with your choice of tea or coffee. We try to source our produce from within a 40-mile radius of the winery.

Our itinerary today includes the following:

  • Cruise Terminal pick-up - We look forward to meeting you at 07:00am.

  • Stonehenge & Museum - You will have approximately 2 hours at your own leisure to thoroughly explore the iconic Stonehenge, along with its fascinating museum, allowing for a deeper appreciation of its historical significance and the surrounding landscape.

  • Black Chalk Vineyard - Enjoy a leisurely tour of the vineyards, where you will have the opportunity to taste four of the outstanding wines from the carefully curated collection. After your tasting experience, indulge in a delicious platter featuring a variety of fresh and locally sourced delicacies from the surrounding area.

  • Leckford Farm Shop - This farm shop has become a treasured hub for local residents and a must-see for visitors exploring the charming Test Valley in Hampshire.

  • Cruise Terminal drop-off - We aim to get you safely back to the cruise terminal before 15:30pm.

Complimentary bottled water will be provided.

NOTE: If your ship happens to have an earlier departure time than originally planned, we can certainly shorten the itinerary to effectively accommodate your day trip. Please be aware that this adjustment will reduce time  from the itinerary above. This means we should get you back to the cruise terminal before 15.00pm.
