First stop is Bushy Park, the renowned happy hunting ground of Henry VIII. The expansive, flat, and open space of Bushy Park has been continuously settled for at least 4,000 years. A notable Bronze Age barrow was excavated in the north-east section of the park near Sandy Lane, and many of the extraordinary finds, including a beautifully crafted Bronze Age dagger, are now housed in the British Museum. Since medieval times, various people have farmed on this historically rich land. Bushy Park proudly serves as home to over 320 red and fallow deer, which roam freely. The deer herds have played a significant role in the park's long history and have notably shaped the diverse landscape that visitors enjoy today.
Lets head to our next stop. Home of Henry VIII and the Tudor dynasty, Hampton Court Palace stands as a 500-year-old royal pleasure palace steeped in history and grandeur. The original Tudor structure was initiated by Cardinal Wolsey in the early 16th century, designed to be a splendid residence. However, it soon attracted the attention of Henry VIII, who famously hosted all six of his wives within its opulent halls and lush gardens, making the palace a significant site of royal history.

Bushy Park - You will have approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore these impressive and expansive grounds. Bushy Park proudly serves as the home to over 320 majestic red and fallow deer, which roam freely throughout the expansive area. The diverse and thriving deer herds have played a significant role in the park's long and storied history and have notably shaped the varied landscape that visitors enjoy and appreciate today.
Hampton Court Palace - You have a total of four hours to thoroughly explore this truly historic site, with plenty of time for a bite to eat! Home to the renowned Henry VIII and the illustrious Tudor dynasty, Hampton Court Palace stands as a magnificent 500-year-old royal pleasure palace that is steeped in rich history and remarkable grandeur.
Cruise Terminal drop-off - We aim to get you safely back to the cruise terminal before 16:30pm.

NOTE: If your ship happens to have an earlier departure time than originally planned, we can certainly shorten the itinerary to effectively accommodate your day trip. Please be aware that this adjustment will reduce Hampton Court Palace to 3 hours from the itinerary above. This means we should get you back to the cruise terminal before 15.30pm.
